Braingammon privacy policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Braingammon is a backgammon game. You can play it without an account: games against the computer and between two people on one device stay on your device. This policy says what is kept when you play online.

Playing offline

Your name, picture, language, settings, local rating, badges and high scores are kept on your device. Without an online account they are never sent anywhere.

Playing online

The first time you choose Play online (or look at the global ratings or the world high scores, or set a new high score in Beat the AI), the game server makes an online account for your device. It keeps:

Other players see your name, picture and global rating during a game, and your name, picture and result in the world high scores. The server's record of connections (its log) holds network addresses for a short time, to keep the server running and safe.

What we do not do

Deleting your account

In the game, open your profile and press the waste bin (Delete online account). The account, its global rating and its games are deleted from the server at once and for good. Deleting the app removes everything kept on your device.

Children

The game asks for no personal information, so it is suitable for players of any age.
